It's been a while!

Wow it's really been a while I last put up something here!

Don't worry, I might seem to be focusing on teaching people on 9-second-step Intention Manifestation, buy I am still in the IT industry!

Why? I need this job to continue to test my 9-second-step Intention Manifestation!

Anyway, as you know, I have been into the Management for quite some years. Below is what I exactly do these days:

“I’ve been an SRE Engineering Manager since 2020 and have operated successfully across different organisational models — first under Support and now under Platform within EMAP. Over time, my role has evolved beyond people management into driving platform reliability outcomes, reducing operational risk, and leading EMAP‑level automation and standardisation initiatives.”

People & Leadership

  • Successfully managing a geographically distributed SRE team across EMAP
  • Applying balanced performance assessment using WHAT + HOW
  • Coaching engineers with different seniority levels and risk profiles
  • Creating psychological safety and improving communication maturity within the team

Platform & Reliability

  • Ownership of platform reliability outcomes rather than reactive support
  • Driving proactive initiatives (monitoring improvements, patching visibility, automation)
  • Leading automation efforts that reduce operational toil and improve consistency

Organisational Impact

  • Contributing to EMAP‑wide tooling, standards, and operational improvements
  • Operating effectively across different organisational models (Support → Platform)
  • Partnering across Platform, Service Operations, and regional teams

Readiness for Next‑Level Scope

Already demonstrating behaviors aligned to senior leadership roles:

  • Strategic delegation and talent development based on capability and risk
  • Platform‑level thinking (resilience, consistency, operational efficiency)
  • Ability to operate across ambiguity and organisational change
  • Credibility with engineers and stakeholders across regions

Primary gap is scope, not capability.
